The Wild Things brand was founded in 1981 by accomplished mountaineers Marie Meunier and John Bouchard. Founded in New Hampshire, an area surrounded by a challenging natural environment and no shortage of skilled climbers to test new products, Wild Things pioneered lightweight outdoor apparel designed for peak performance in any terrain.
The Wild Things Monster Parka in Black is a tried and tested military piece designed to provide insulation in temperatures as low as -51 celsius. This full-length jacket is made of a durable, waterproof 100% nylon outer layer and a warm inner layer, making it perfect for extreme cold-weather conditions.
Combining a heavy-duty insulation with a lightweight design, it allows you to stay warm in even the coldest climates without adding extra weight.
The parka is composed of PrimaLoft, a synthetic material developed in the 1980s as an alternative to goose down. This lightweight fabric retains heat even when wet, making it ideal for high-altitude climates. Wild Things was one of the first brands to recognise the potential of PrimaLoft, and their decades of experience ensures the highest quality parka for your cold-weather needs.
With a revolutionary synthetic down filling and water-repellent outer shell, this parka will keep you warm and dry in the harshest winter weather. Its extended length and stowaway hood offer maximum insulation and coverage, while the adjustable internal drawstring keeps the draft out.
