The Haglofs Brand Story
One of the most exciting and esteemed outdoor brands around right now, Haglofs is a true connoisseur’s choice.
If you’re new to Haglofs, it might surprise you to learn that the brand has been around for just shy of a century! Its contemporary products look strictly modern, because they are: Haglofs proudly moves with the times, utilising the latest technologies and fabrics to create the highest-performing, most efficient products possible.
The brand’s founder, Wiktor Haglofs, was a Swedish carpenter living in the countryside at the turn of the 1900s – a man who knew harsh conditions better than anyone. Being a self-starter who was good with his hands, he decided to try those hands at making his very own outdoor equipment – to make some products that made turn-of-the-century rural living that little bit easier, that little bit more comfortable. And in 1914, the Halgofs brand was born.
The heritage behind Haglofs is one reason why we love the brand here at Urban Industry, but more importantly for us, it has continued to evolve, and it is actively engaged in sustainability. Two huge ticks.
Their jackets are among the very best on offer in the outdoor market right now, from the robust Gore-Tex shells and the toasty insulated layers, through to the speed-focused L.I.M. (“Less Is More”) series.
