The Parlez Brand Story

Parlez is a Bristol-based brand that offers a classic, clean street look with a distinctly nautical twist.

Masters of timeless sportswear silhouettes like quarter-zip sweatshirts, crewneck sweatshirts and hoodies, it’s a brand that can easily slot into your everyday wardrobe while making a statement at the same time. 

Their wide product range offers up a variety of designs and variations on branding, always with spot-on colourways. Much of the designs are embroidered rather than printed, bringing a true feeling of detail to every piece, and they usually contain references to sailing and seafaring. 

But let’s be clear: Parlez offers up more than just distinctive, comfy sweats and hoodies. Their T-shirt offering is just as diverse, including short-sleeve, long-sleeve, striped and graphic options. 

Then there are the jackets and shirt jackets, ideal for spring and summer, whether down by the beach or attending a good old back-garden barbecue. And plenty of other bases are covered too: active shorts, sports socks and more.

Part of the 1% For The Planet movement, Parlez donates 1% of its annual sales to environmental causes – yet another reason why we’re totally behind them here at Urban Industry. 

They’re also working towards greater sustainability in all kinds of choices, from fabric choices to production methods to shipping. Using recycled fabrics has become a big focus, and, in Parlez’s own words: “by the year 2023 we aim to solely manufacture clothing using organic, recycled or sustainable fabrics”. Music to our ears.
