The By Parra Brand Story

By Parra is the brainchild of Dutch artist Pieter ‘Parra’ Janssen, who’s been based in Amsterdam for years. The brand is all about showcasing his distinctive illustrative style through the medium of clothing.

One of Parra’s hallmarks is the signature colour combo of azure blue, rose red, magenta pink and jet black. On a white or grey background such as a tee or a sweatshirt, it’s a killer combo that pops like nothing else. It is quite literally wearable art, and it doesn’t age.

Parra is perhaps best-known for his work with the Dutch brand Patta, having designed the logo and many early prints. He's also known for his partnerships with Nike – including numerous sneaker collabs, as well as some Nike SB work, which includes the designs for Olympic skate-team uniforms!

As well as the graphic-led statement pieces, By Parra always offers a choice of subtler items, covering your entire wardrobe, with staples like crewneck sweats, hoodies, three-quarter zips, fleeces, gilets and coach jackets, plus the odd hat here and there.
