The Mizuno Contender Shoes in Spruce Yellow/Tiger's Eye/Cloud Cream are a modern classic pair of trainers. Making their debut in 1995 Mizuno revisited the style in 2021 keeping the design of the original while upgrading the cushioning in the sole.
Premium soft suede sits over textile panels for the main uppers, with rough suede at the heel and tongue and open mesh panels adding some texture. Mizuno have gone for really subtle muted shades on this model to really give it an aged look.
Ample padding around the collar and tongue keep the Contender firmly in place on your foot and ensure you're supported. The Contender features a single density, compression moulded EVA foam midsole that sits on top of the original impact-to-response internal H2 compound found in golf balls for maximum energy transfer.
