Vans Era – Anaheim California, USA Est. 1966
The Vans Era obviously takes its cues from its big brother the Vans Authentic in terms of shape and style but the Era shoe was evolution rather than revolution when it appeared on the scene back in 1976. Right at the height of the original skateboard era the ‘Style #95” as the Era was originally known added toughness and durability to the original in the form of a padded ankle collar and featured the sown panels that allowed the Vans Era to be coloured up in 2 different colours at once.
World renowned, original skater, Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta (Pro Skateboarder and later skate video director) designed the sneaker and Tony himself became synonymous with the Vans Era shoes and he was hardly seen without a pair on. Today we stock a wide range of the Era Shoe in many different fabrics and colour ways here at Urban Industry.
