The Danner Ridge Boots provide a classic style, with cushioned comfort. Made in Danner's Portland factory, the Ridge Explorer is a lightweight and versatile hiking boot created with that classic Danner style, mixed with modern comfort.
Taking inspiration from the original Danner Light, it has a full-grain leather upper with suede panels, this allows for more comfort around the sensitive parts of the foot. With Gore-Tex liners that are 100% waterproof and breathable, ensuring that no water gets in, while allowing moisture and sweat to get out.
With three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
Specifically designed for comfort and durability, the heel provides superb shock absorption and the Vibram Megagrip compound guarantees great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces.
Handcrafted to provide a wider platform, their legendary stitchdown construction offers increased stability underfoot.
