Who is Urban Industry for?

Urban Industry is for men who care about quality, considered design, and longevity in their wardrobe. Our core customer is typically aged between 25 and 45, with a strong interest in workwear heritage, Japanese denim, technical outerwear, and contemporary streetwear. He values authorised retail, brand authenticity, and buying fewer, better pieces from labels like Carhartt WIP, Edwin, and Arc'teryx.

Is Urban Industry only for younger shoppers?

Not at all. While Urban Industry has always had a strong following among men in their early twenties, our customer base spans from early twenties through to mid-forties and beyond. The brands we stock, including Carhartt WIP, Beams Plus, Arc'teryx, and Universal Works, are designed with longevity and wearability in mind rather than trend-driven youth fashion. Many of our most loyal customers have shopped with us since we opened in 2002.

What kind of style does Urban Industry suit?

Urban Industry suits men who gravitate toward a considered, understated wardrobe built on quality basics, workwear-influenced pieces, and functional outerwear. If you are drawn to the aesthetic of brands like Carhartt WIP, NN07, Arc'teryx, Universal Works, and New Balance and value craftsmanship and fit over fast fashion, Urban Industry is the right store for you. Our edit works equally well dressed up or worn as everyday staples.
