The Taion Brand Story

Taion is a Japanese outdoor brand that makes wintertime layering a heck of a lot easier. Translating literally to “body temperature”, this brand is all about warmth.

Specialising in down-filled essential items such as vests (i.e. gilets), inner jackets and hooded parkas, Taion gives you plenty of insulation choice without adding too much bulk.

Taion’s preferred approach to insulation is to go 90% down and 10% feather, which ensures that the garment stays slimline while also guaranteeing the cosiness you need.

And as well as offering exceptional warmth on the inside, Taion’s outer shells are resilient, most of them made from 100% nylon and often featuring that wonderfully tough ripstop design.

The choice of colours is about as trusty as you can get: military-style green, black, navy and cream. Whatever your style is, there’ll be at least one colourway that fits perfectly into your existing wardrobe. Whether you’re out on a brisk walk, working from home or lounging in the evening, these simple items will increase your comfort-levels.

Given that it’s a Japanese brand, it’s crucial that you get your sizing right. Taion themselves have recommended that we use their ‘Asia’ sizing method – so if you’re usually a size Medium, we recommend that you stick with size Medium.
