Gramicci G-Pants fit true to size at the waist but are cut with a roomier seat and thigh to allow for free movement. If you're between sizes or prefer an oversized, skate-inspired look, we'd recommend sizing up and using the integrated belt to cinch the waist. One thing to note: Gramicci lists both Japanese and Western (EU/US) sizes on their tags, so always check the Western size when ordering.

Every pair of Gramicci G-Pants features a signature diamond-shaped fabric insert sewn into the crotch area. This design eliminates tension when performing wide-leg movements, making the trousers ideal for climbing, skating, or general active use. This gusset allows for 180-degree splits and is paired with a webbing belt and elastic waistband for an adjustable, comfortable fit. Whether you're hiking, cycling, or just sitting at a desk all day, the gusset means you'll never feel restricted.

Because Gramicci uses a garment-dye process, most shrinkage is removed during manufacturing. To maintain fit and the depth of the dye, a cool wash at 30°C and hanging to dry naturally is recommended. Always wash light and dark coloured fabrics separately, and to prevent the belt from getting tangled, use a laundry bag. Avoid tumble drying where possible to preserve the cotton twill's shape and colour.

The Gramicci G-Pants offer a relaxed, slightly tapered silhouette that pairs well with trainers or technical hiking boots. If you prefer a more contemporary, wider leg that stacks over your shoes, the Straight Fit Pants are the better choice, providing a cleaner line from hip to hem and suiting the current trend for looser, relaxed tailoring. Both styles share the same core Gramicci DNA, the diamond crotch gusset for unrestricted leg reach and the built-in belt for on-the-fly adjustment. The G-Pant is the more heritage, outdoor-influenced choice; the Straight Fit leans more contemporary and urban.

The classic Gramicci G-Pants are made from 100% organic cotton twill, which is not waterproof, but they are highly wind-resistant due to the dense weave of the fabric. For wet weather, Gramicci's seasonal Ripstop or Cordura versions often feature DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coatings and are a better option. For the unpredictable UK climate, we'd suggest pairing the standard G-Pants with a technical waterproof shell jacket, a combination that works brilliantly for everything from city commuting to weekend trails.
