COMING SOON: The Satisfy Rocker Running Shoe
First Look: The Shoe Everyone’s Talking About
There’s a new running shoe on the way in—and it’s about to disrupt how we think about daily miles and the every day style of the running aesthetic.
Satisfy Running is doing what they do best: blending performance innovation with aesthetic precision. And this August, we’re bringing the Rocker Running Shoe to Urban Industry for its global retail debut.
You’ve probably seen the Rocker teased online—on the feet of trail-tuned influencers, in long-distance training posts, and on dusty ridgelines across Europe. And if you’ve been wondering whether the hype’s worth it?
Short answer: it appear that it really is. We saw the shoe samples back in November 2024 and we were blown away by its design and construction.
Why Was the TheROCKER Designed?
When we first got word of the Rocker, we knew this was something special. Satisfy wanted to create a shoe that wasn’t just a functional tool—but part of a lifestyle. Something for the runners who train religiously and care how their kit looks grabbing a coffee post-run.
Satisfy TheROCKER fills a sweet spot that’s been sorely missing from the market:
- ✔️ Engineered for distance and tempo training
- ✔️ Stripped-back visual design for minimalist styling
- ✔️ Built to endure rough miles and sharp commutes
- ✔️ Rocker geometry to keep you gliding, not grinding
Satisfy weren’t interested in carbon plates or hyper-marketing gimmicks. They wanted something utilitarian. Durable. Sleek. Runwear, not racewear.
A Shoe Born from Remote-Controlled Car World...
TheRocker has a very different and typically Satisfy DNA inception.
Brice Partouche, founder of Satisfy, has a strong passion for vintage RC car racing. Yep. Remote controlled scaled down cars.
His inspiration for TheROCKERS's Vibram Sole? The tread of his favourite RC tyres.

Utilising a unique nub design for traction, TheROCKER deviates from standard lugs typically found on trail shoes with Vibram soles. Vibram TuneLug by Satisfy features spaced conical pods that allow mud shedding and provide grip on rock and wet surfaces.
What Is TheROCKER All About?
Here’s a snapshot of what’s under the hood..Midsole and Outsole:
Feature |
What It Means for You |
Progressive Rocker Geometry |
Helps roll you forward smoothly with every step. Think less impact, more rhythm. |
Dyneema® Upper |
Stronger than steel, feather-light, and doesn’t deform even after heavy use. |
Dual-Density Midsole |
Keeps things soft where it matters, responsive where it counts. |
Vibram® Megagrip Outsole |
Trail-level grip for wet streets, canal paths, or gravel roads. |
Why We’re Excited at Urban Industry
We’re known for curating the gear that matters—functional, progressive, and always laced with unique design qualities. When we select products for Urban Industry, we ask:
- Does it perform at the level its intended for?
- Does it look like something you'd actually wear in everyday life as well?
- Will it last beyond the honeymoon phase?
With the Satisfy TheROCKER, the answer is yes, yes, and absolutely yes.

It’s rare that a shoe crosses over this well between movement and minimalism. It’s looks as though it will be comfortable navigating a 10K run as it is turning heads in the city at the coffee shop or pub.
