Our latest instalment of our style focus feature takes us to London’s Wireless Festival, which was hosted in Finsbury Park over the weekend. Some of the biggest names in the world of hip hop, R&B, grime and dance descended upon the North London park, with tens of thousands if fans turning up in their droves to enjoy the day.
While the traditional festival look usually comprises of a casual pair of shorts, maybe a vest and some wellies, Wireless definitely offered up something different in terms of ‘festival’ style with the likes of Supreme, Palace and Stussy all on show. The Boonie hat seemed to be the headwear of choice for the day, which seemed to do a great job of keeping the sun at bay. In amongst the pizza boxes and paper cups we managed to spot some serious heat on the feet, from exclusive Air Jordan’s to those keeping it simple with Vans, and everything in between.
With the glorious weather and plenty going on around the festival, the day, in large, was full of good vibes and good music. Canadian rap heavyweight Drake was the highlight of the days events, finishing his set with a special firework display to bring the day to a close.
