This Wednesday and Thursday (29th and 30th of July), the biggest names in menswear and streetwear descended upon Brick Lane’s Truman Brewery to showcase their wares for Spring/Summer 2016.
The bi-annual event gives buyers and press a chance to preview and get a feel for some of the upcoming styles from the various collections from the following season. For us it was great to catch up with some familiar faces, as well as sampling some exciting collections from our current range of brands including The Hundreds, HUF, Dickies, Edwin, Deus Ex Machina, amongst others.
A reoccurring theme from the brands with more of a streetwear heritage was to look to develop their lines for upcoming seasons, producing more mature styles with new material applications, more considered logo designs and a variety of cuts and fits.
With Jacket Required more of a menswear focused event, we noticed a lot more mature styling from those at the event, with workwear inspired pieces from the likes of Edwin and Carhartt the stand out looks from the day. Check out our ‘style’ focused recap of the days events below…
