LA based The Quiet Life return for Spring 2015, offering up minimal visuals and a mature approach to their designs in the 56th & FIG” collection.
The collections name derives from the intersecting points of 56th Avenue and Figueroa Street, situated in The Quiet Life’s hometown in the Highland Park district of Los Angeles, which is also where the lookbook was shot. The Quiet Life called upon long term friend of the brand Dan Monick to produce the stripped back visuals, which allow for the clothing to take centre stage. The latest release showcases a healthy selection of lightweight outerwear and several wardrobe staples including button down shirting, hoodies and sweaters, tees, long-sleeves and several headwear options.
The collection mixes vibrant pattern and print techniques with more subtle graphic pieces, but largely keeps things simple with a focus on cut and sew items for more considered looks. Within the collection you can also find several mini capsule collections including the brands ongoing Liberty of London fabric pack and Camera Club series.
