In 1985, The North Face introduced a game changer in outerwear design. Built to tackle the harshest of conditions and keep the wearer warm and dry through all weather, The Mountain Jacket brought new innovative technology and revolutionary materials that would help explorers conquer the worlds highest peaks.
The Mountain Jacket returns this year in celebration of it’s 30th anniversary, sticking as closely as possible to the original that protected the Snowbird Everest team back in 1987, as it maintains its iconic style and functionality. The latest iteration of the Jacket is constructed from 100% Nylon and features water-proof Gore-Tex, which also offers breathability to the wearer. The jacket has fully sealed seams and storm cuffs, as well as an adjustable hem and hood to avoid any unwanted wet or cold getting through.
This Spring/Summer, the limited edition Mountain Jacket arrives in 3 unique colourways, each featuring colour blocking on the reinforced shoulder panels and cuffing, and a small embroidered logo on the chest and back. The jacket is offered up in its original TNF Yellow and TNF Red options, as well as the new TNF Black colour way.
