I touched on The Hundreds ‘Move Mountains’ Holiday 2013 lookbook and video on the Urban Industry blog a few weeks ago. Today sees the first taste of The Hundreds winter ’13 clothing land at UI towers. I can safely say this is one of the strongest collections Bobby Hundreds and co have released in recent memory.
The Hundreds are one of those rare brands that are acutely aware of their own history, yet aren’t afraid of trying new things as well. Instead of lazy logo reprints, we get perhaps one of the most comprehensive collections of printed graphic tees each and every season. There’s a strong cut & sew selection on offer this season too, as well as some examples of the more technically-sound outerwear being produced by the main streetwear brands at the moment. Check out The Hundreds Carlton Jacket (£114.99) with its 2000mm waterproof nylon and fleece lining construction as proof.
Elsewhere we have some nice touches in the form of accessories. The Hundreds Collage socks (£9.99) are a must for all Adam Bomb fans, as is the vanilla-scented Air Freshener (£4.99) which I can confirm legitimately smells nice. We also have nice touches of The Hundreds’ own custom camouflage print for Holdiay 2013 in the form of the Murky, Sylvester and Montana wallets. Add to that an awesome array of The Hundreds branded socks and we have the accessory game sussed. They also make great Christmas Gift ideas if you’ve been blessed with the foresight to not leave the shopping till the day before.
