Jeff Staple’s brand is getting ready to fly the coop this summer. New York City is heating up and that only means one thing – summer is under way. Staple has prepared for the warm weather with another classic collection, drawing inspiration from athletics and nautical culture, with influence from the laid-back island lifestyle. The Staple Summer 2014 collection has touched down at Urban Industry and today we get a look at the accompanying Paradise Lost lookbook. Similar to other streetwear brands such as The Hundreds, this season sees Staple full embrace the surfwear influence and mix it up with their own custom prints and fabrics.
Key pieces from this season include the Staple Pigeon Football Jersey (£34.95) which features a fresh new take on classic American sportswear. The custom embroidery and pigeon print fabric really sets this piece off. Elsewhere we see the brand get on board the World Cup hype with the Staple Pigeon Tech Jersey (£49.95). With all these streetwear brands releasing their own take on soccer jerseys this summer, we reckon we’ll have enough examples to kit out a full 11 man squad by the time the tournament kicks off! The Staple Summer 2014 collection is available to buy online and instore at Urban Industry now.
