As I’m sure many of you will be aware, we here at Urban Industry pride ourselves on championing some of the best established and emerging brands on the UK streetwear scene. Addict for example has been around as long as some of the most popular American labels. The British input to the scene is not to be taken lightly, and one of the newest players on the scene is independent label Son of Wild.
Son of Wild really impressed us upon launching last autumn with their first collection consisting almost exclusively of custom cut and sew shirts, t-shirts and jumpers. The brand is still going strong and is back this year with an equally impressive range. The spring collection is heavily print based with the prints created by the Son of Wild artists, drawing inspiration from tribal textile designs. The garments themselves were designed with the look of western vintage in mind and that shows through with details such as the wooden buttons. The prints featured in the collection brings together a diverse mix of styles and themes, bridging the gap between contemporary high fashion and streetwear.
There’s still a few bits from last season available but be quick. We’re expecting the full spring drop to come within the next couple of weeks. We have a few pieces of spring stock in already as a teaser.
