Sean H’s Sale Picks

July 11, 2012

This week it’s my turn to show off a selection of gems that may have been lost due to the size of our huge summer sale here at Urban Industry. I’ve gone through the process of what we call here ‘panning for gold’ and searched through an unprecedented amount of sale items on offer to reveal some great pieces that you might of missed out on. Both Dan and Sean M have had a go, so it’s about time that I showed you my favorite sale look of the summer.

I’m not really a hat person, so we’ve skipped through headwear and straight on to some great summer outwear. We kick things off with this awesome Addict Mountain Range Jacket in it’s dark navy colourup. The weight it just about right on this jacket, not so heavy that your sweating buckets in the summer heat but theres enough material there between you and the outdoors to keep your warm, especially when the summer in the UK has been a bit of a let down so far! I’m all about the subtle branding and simplicity of a jacket, this has it all… the small leather tabs, branded buttons and a small woven label. In fact, there is still a nice range of Addict clothing and even a red colourway in this jacket if that’s more your thing. Did I forget to mention… it has a huge 40% off which drops it down from £119.00 to £71.99, an absolute bargain!

We’re on to the T-Shirt next, I can’t believe this one hasn’t been snapped up quicker to be honest! This is the Undefeated 2nd To None T-Shirt in Black. A real strong looking graphic adorns the t-shirt up front, you can’t go wrong with Undefeated’s branding through it’s use of big, bold and punchy graphic prints. The price attracted me to this piece further more, considering it’s dropped from £33.50 to £21.77 which is 35% off. This ones a real no brainer for me.

Denim, now here’s something that any good look or outfit really needs. Normally I stick to my Obey or Levi’s denim but I’ve gone for something a little different this time around with these great Volcom Chili Choker Jeans with a DIY Wash. I like my jeans skinny fitting and these fit the bill for sure. A low rise, skinny fit jean with a dark indigo coloured wash… these jeans are ticking all the right boxes. Priced at £42.90 down from £66.00 (35% discount) these are also a right steal!

I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Vans shoes and anyone that knows me well enough will agree with me on this point for sure. Bearing this in mind, I really couldn’t go with anything else but this great pair of Vans Authentic’s in Grindle Black. This particular colour/canvas upper offers up something that just sets them aside from your regular black colour options. First introduced back in 1976, this shoe is still one of the strongest styles going today in my opinion. Price wise, they’ve now dropped from £49.99 to £37.49, a healthy enough chuck of money off which equates to a 25% discount.

Due to my disinterest in caps, I’ve gone for a slightly larger mix of accessories for my look in order to fill the gap in the headwear department. First up we have this great looking Obey Craftwork Wallet in Camo priced at a reasonable £22.49.  Also picked form Obey’s Spring/Summer 2012 accessory range, I’ve pulled out these Obey Navajo Socks in Heather Grey. These socks are spot on at £9.74 (35% discount) and are also available in two further colour options. Last but not least I’ve added the Penfield Belvedere Backpack in tan. I’m a real fan of khaki/navy colour combinations so this was an instant winner for me whilst I was putting the final touches of this look together. You can grab this for £38.99 (40% off).
