Saucony Originals Shadow 6000 ‘Irish Coffee’ Pack

December 03, 2015

Saucony Shadow 6000 Irish Coffee Pack

Saucony look to finish a successful year for the brand on a high as they present another clean release in the form of the ‘Irish Coffee’ pack.

Drawing design inspiration from the popular tipple of Irish Coffee, the pack also pays homage to a man named Joe Sheridan, who back in 1943 introduced the drink to the world, perhaps unaware of the impact it would go on to have. With the brands classic Shadow 6000 running silhouette as the focus, Saucony draw colour inspiration from the key ingredients required to make Irish Coffee: whiskey, cream and of course coffee, resulting in three separate colour ways of light golden brown, off-white and black respectively.  The shoes upper has been updated with a plush Wolverine Silkee Suede, featuring tonal lacing and branding, with each style sitting on top of a stark white EVA cushioned midsole and triangular luged gum sole.

It’s clear that a lot of consideration has gone in to the design and the premium take on the popular running silhouette is sure to be a hit when it lands in-store.
