PUMA Crackle Pack – Trinomic Disc Blaze
At the end of last year we received the main instalment of PUMA’s well-rounded ‘Crackle Pack’ release, featuring strong reworks of 3 key Trinomic silhouettes – The Blaze of Glory, R698 and XT2+. PUMA kick off 2015 by completing the pack with a new approach to the Trinomic Disc Blaze.
Again taking cues from the cracked surfaces of clay tennis courts, the shoes upper receives 3 fresh colour treatments – light grey with hits of purple, burgundy with hits of teal and black with fuchsia pink, all of which featured in the initial release.
The shoe gets a premium rework as a soft hackshaw leather is applied to the upper which features tonal stitching and branding, a perforated toe box and the shoes iconic cage and disc lace fastening system. This all sits on top of a crispy white midsole, with crackle effect detailing and contrasting black outsole.
It’s a great rework of the futuristic silhouette and a versatile release from the guys at PUMA, who enjoyed a lot of well-deserved success in 2014. With some great things lined up in 2015, it seems as though PUMA will continue in the same vein throughout the year.
The Disc Blaze ‘Crackle Pack’ will be available online shortly. For now, be sure to check out the styles from the previous drop HERE.
