Nike SB Janoski Max – Spring 2015
The Janoski Max from Nike SB was another highlight from a year of solid footwear releases in 2014. Nike took a bold step to rework the low profile silhouette by adding innovative features such as the Air Max unit and Free run sole, which was unsurprisingly met with some resistance from the shoes die-hard fans. Luckily Nike did a great job on the design and combined all of the features seamlessly to produce a highly wearable, comfortable trainer that won the doubters over in no time.
The skate ready Nike SB Janoski Max increases mobility and comfort both on and off the board, with durability considered in the design to contend with the rigours of skating. Additional features include low profile zoom cushioning, Nike’s free run sole on the forefoot and a vulcanised outsole.
The shoes unique make up gets two new reworks for Spring 2015 as Nike SB introduce the Villain Red and Blue Graphite colour ways. The Villain Red arrives in a combination of red and black applied to the one-piece mesh upper, while the Blue Graphite features a reworked suede and mesh construction, with each shoe making use of the EVA foam sock liner for additional cushioning. Both uppers sit on top of a contrasting white Phylon midsole, which holds the iconic Air Max unit. Swoosh branding , tonal laces and the Janoski logo on the tongue completes the look.
