New brand profile: AONO

We’re always on the lookout for new independent UK brands to get behind here at Urban Industry. One brand that’s been on our radar for a while now is Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned (or AONO to give its abbreviated name). The guys are based just down the road from us in Hove, and we’ve been following them online for a while now. Their Instagram following in particular is pretty impressive stuff, and it’s great to see a UK brand get their name far and wide.

AONO is typified by graphics that pay homage to tattoo art and the barber lifestyle. In fact, Paul (the main man at AONO) also runs H’s Barber Shop in Hove. I’ve had my hair cut here a few times and they are spot-on. It also helps that they have that all-important Dickies endorsement deal too! The SS12 range (which is a UK store exclusive to us here at Urban Industry) is made up of a great range of tees and vests. From the simple AONO logo print to the Custer t-shirt, we think the guys have produced a strong range to launch here with us.

It’s been a strong year for UK brands so far with the likes of Indcsn and AnyForty easily punching their weight alongside some of their US counterparts on the Urban Industry site. We welcome AONO to the fold, and for the year that’s in it, proudly stand behind another strong UK streetwear brand.
