Last week we made our way up to East London’s Truman Brewery for the first Jacket Required trade show of the year, showcasing Autumn/Winter 2016 offerings from hundreds of brands from across the globe.
Alongside catching up with some familiar faces, it was great to see whats coming through for the new season from our current brands, with new styles and reworked classics that are sure to gain some attention when they drop. Highlights from the day included Dickies staple work wear offering, showcasing some interesting military inspired workwear as well as several variations of all the popular classics such as the work pant. Herschel Supply’s military themed collection seemed to be getting a lot of attention, while new footwear introductions from HUF was a huge focus for the brand next season. Brixton continue to develop their laid back aesthetic with more wardrobe essentials, while The Hundreds build upon the more mature approach that has been a focus for the brand the last few seasons.
