Introducing: Cheap Monday

 Following popular demand, we have recently added Scandinavian jean specialists Cheap Monday to our ever growing line up of brands here at Urban Industry. Our first delivery sees a strong mix of casual and more menswear pieces, in a range that focuses highly on quality but is available at an accessible price point.

The Cheap Monday brand was founded in Stockholm back in 2004. Following the owners previous ventures at the popular Weekend and Weekday stores in and around the capital city, the concept for the brand was born out of a desire to provide the market with affordable jeans that still looked and felt great when worn. The first Cheap Monday style was known as the ‘tight’ which featured the brands now iconic skull logo for the first time and was available unwashed in a very tight fit. The ‘Tight’ was hugely popular amongst the fashion conscious of Sweden, selling out all 800 pairs in just two weeks!

 The brands momentum continued to gain throughout the year and in 2005, Cheap Monday increased operations to produce full collections that would be distributed not only to stores in Sweden but across the globe. Up until present day, Cheap Monday has continued to grow as a brand, developing with each range but still sticking true to their level of commitment towards quality and reasonable pricing. Notable collabs with the likes of H&M have boosted the brands profile, while they have also moved into new markets for kids, women and even footwear.
