Leeds based brand Indcsn close out a successful 2013 with their latest fall/winter range. To coincide with this new collection dropping, Indcsn have enlisted the help of photographer Giles Smith and team skateboarder Chris Parsons to front its 2013 fall/winter lookbook. Using the brand’s hometown of Leeds as a backdrop, Smith has perfectly captured the new season’s drop with a series of clean shots that highlight key pieces. Personal favourites for me have to be the Costanza shirt. Named after the best character on TV ever™, Indcsn have given us a few different iterations of this classic European-made shirt over the course of the past few seasons. For fall/winter we get a tasteful plaid print pattern in two different colour options.
Elsewhere the graphic tee output is as strong as usual. The Sport and XXX logo tees in particular stand out for me and once again proves that there’s still life in the humble logo t-shirt when it’s done properly. A selection of warm fleece and a smart take on the classic coaches jacket rounds out this hard bodied collection. Along with the likes of Grind London, AnyForty and Villainous Visard, 2013 has been a strong year for independent UK brands. Indcsn are definitely leading the way and this collection solidifies their place for me.
