Earlier this year we saw Italian footwear giants Diadora re-introduce the classic S8000 running silhouette to a positive response from sneaker fans. Following on from the ‘Espresso Ristretto’ re-release, Diadora have now delivered two seasonal colourways in the classic shoe as we move in to Autumn/Winter.
First released in 1990 as part of the brands running collection, the S8000 is designed to provide optimal comfort and cushioning for the wearer, with the ‘S’ in the name actually standing for ‘stability’. The latest iteration of the shoe sticks closely to the original in terms of material and shape, and has been entirely produced in the shoe district of Montebelluna, Italy, so quality can be assured. Arriving in a two tone blue and a two tone brown colour option, the S8000’s upper has been constructed from a mixture of brushed suede and nylon, with cream leather on the branding for a premium finish. Both styles sit on an off white midsole and black outsole, and feature embossed branding on the heel and tongue label.
