With most of our operations now based online, we perhaps don’t put that much emphasis on our physical location which is based at the front of our warehouse space. For the latest instalment of our Behind The Scenes feature we spend a day hanging out with Barney, our store manager, as he goes through his daily routines.
Urban Industry began life as a small shop front on South Street in Eastbourne, stocking a modest selection of carefully selected brands. Following success in the store and online we eventually moved on to a slightly larger space on Grove Road to cater for our expansion before we took the big step of moving the brand into its current warehouse location on Alder Close.
A huge part of Urban Industry’s heritage and ethos is the personal interaction with our customers, meeting them face to face and offering them the best shopping experience we can. Although our online operations grew much larger than our store operations, it is still a key part of how we run the company. Our store allows regulars and new discerning customers to immerse themselves in our culture and leave the store with knowledge on the product they are buying in to. Operating from Monday to Saturday, the store stocks the latest from our ever growing brand list, as well offering you the choice to browse our entire web store with the wide screen monitor.
If you are ever in town or are looking to come and see our products first hand, be sure to pop down to 2, Park View, Alder Close, Eastbourne, BN23 6QE. You can read more about our story history HERE and find out more on visiting the store HERE.
