A closer look at the Nike Roshe Two

September 06, 2016

Almost 5 years after the originals Nike Roshe burst on to the scene, Nike have taken the fan favourite silhouette and given it a slick update for the new season.

Back in 2012 the Roshe was release to the world. A unique and simplistic style which drew it's design inspiration from the concept of 'Zen', with the shoes name directly coming from the word “Roshi,” which is a title given to a Zen master. The shoes minimal make-up saw it quickly turn in to a modern icon of footwear design, something that not many other companies, including Nike themselves have managed to mirror in recent times.

This season, while maintaining much of it's signature features including the instantly recognisable shape, the Roshe has been reworked to provide even more comfort through the use of soft, lightweight materials. Working off the originals one-piece sock-like construction, the Roshe Two features slight adjustments to ensure comfort, flexibility, and breathability through added perforations. There has also been some significant updates to the styles sole unit, with 'Tri-fusion' added to ensure optimal comfort and durability in all the right places. Comprised of different layers, the elements are broken down with a mixture of soft, medium and hard densities to give the best cushioning possible exactly where its needed.

Without straying to far from the original, Nike have managed to add in all the right features to ensure that the Roshe is capable of dealing with the rigours of everyday wear while providing unrivalled comfort for the wearer.
