Fast shopping!

My first online experience at urbanindustry was quite good and the delivery perfect! I can't say shopping was perfect too because you have to be pretty fast at it as the basket gets empty in very short time when looking for further items to add, having to start the process from the beginning. I have another complaint: I asked you to receive an email as soon as you had received an out-of-stock sneaker number, but when you emailed me back telling me you had my number, the truth was you didn't have it! Anyway, I expect to do more shopping further on.

Great site. great selection, just one bad experience!

Put an order in and unfortunately the wrong item was sent through. I was expecting to pick up the item from the postal depot as it was a large parcel and I work during the week, however due to the wrong item being sent through it was a good two weeks from first ordering the item until the returns slip for free postage was e-mailed through, to have to then drive to the post office again to send the item off. The correct replacement item had also to be be picked up from the central depot so again another journey. Probably a good 3hrs wasted time and about £10 in petrol for a £30 pair of plims! No discount offered and an automated cut and paste apology e-mailed through. Awesome site when it gets it right (which it does 9 times out 10) but again when it goes wrong (which sometimes things do) their doesn't seem to much in the way of conciliatory measures/discounts to say sorry. Will probably stick to Flatspot and Karmaloop in the future.....

My items still haven't arrived.....

I have still not received my order of 2 t-shirts and a baseball cap, I ordered them late on a wednesday night (21/04/2010) and all I have received from Urbanindustry is a few e-mails asking me if I like my items, not an e-mail to check if they have arrived!! I am very annoyed with urbanindustry because they have great clothes for sale but now, after this, I will never use their website again. So you can kiss-goodbye what would of been a regular customer because the way they run is a shambles. I have heard other stories about parcels not arriving to my halls of residence in southampton but at least other companies called to confirm it was student halls or that there will be an extra charge but nothing from urban industry, so i will be in contact with them looking for my items or a full payment back. Not happy at all!

I've used Urban Industry before and always been impressed. The ordering and check out system work smoothly and payment is a breeze offering multiple options. Delivery is always good - everything is packaged well, delivered quickly in time for my holiday! One area that maybe needs improvement is product descriptions and pictures for certain items such as rucksacks where it's hard to judge how large a bag is, or what the interior looks like. But that's a minor point.

Order went through very smoothly, and was very impressed with the next delivery with orders over £80, if I had known I wouldn't have ordered late night on a friday, as this meant the ordered wasn't processed till monday, and then delivered on tuesday. My only problem with delivery was FedEX, as I tracked the order which said it left the depot, which is a hour away, for delivery at 8am, so naturally i stayed in waiting, thinking it would be a couple of hours, however it didn't turn up till 6pm! As it's not urban industries fault I haven't marked them down for it, probably serves me right for living in the sticks.

Fast international delivery, but expensive

I ordered some stuff for £89 but with shipping i had to pay £109. The problem is that i have an international credit card and i am only studying in britain now and i want the delivery to come to england, but due to the billing address is fixed in another country i can only get the package in my country. good products but bad bad delivery service

I have ordered from your site for almost £90 worth of goods. The items were delivered by FEDEX. Because I work i couldn't take reception of the delivery. So I had to go their depot - for their delivery hours were not matching my working hours - which is at the back of beyond with diect acces by bus. I hired a taxi which cost me £10. The worse thing is the Fedex people seem they can't be bothered to deal with public appropriately, so they were quite rude to me when I came to collect my goods. The whole thing makes me wonder if I want to remain a Urban Industry customer, which I think, would be detrimental to both of us. It would be so much simpler if deliveries were arranged through Royal Mail (like with Amazon)with the possibility to redirect the parcel to my local Post Office for collecting at my convenience. FAST DELIVERY WRONG COLOURWAY!

I received the trainers that I had ordered very quickly which I was pleased with, however I received them in blue and red and not green and yellow as I had requested. I decided to keep them as I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of returning them at my own expense and waiting to receive the correct product which may or may not have been in stock. If I was cynical I might suggest that the trainers weren't in stock in the colourway I requested and the other trainers were simply sent to me with a "they'll do attitude'.

Urban Industry is one of my best e-shopping experience, seriously. Always super-fast to send. Always easy to navigate through the categories(list menu on top left corner), the pricing is fine and often lower than other boutiques. As a French customer, I'd appreciate a delivery price a bit lower. As for the improvements, maybe bigger stocks, redeem codes for appreciated costumers ;) maybe more brands, a navigation menu (the one at the top of the page) a bit clearer with fewer categories. Indeed, you have to scan the entire line to find sales or other. It makes me think, maybe a special button could be added to stress the sales category. I think that will be all :) keep on the good work guys.

I think Urban Industry is great! I use it to order various Vans and LRG products and never had any problems, good prices regular sales. I think the site could benefit from getting more stock in and updating the stock on the site more often as a few times I have ordered and only to find out the products are out of stock. terrible service.....felt like i was an inconvienence

Called Me A Liar, And Thats Just Not Right !!!

i purchased a jacket from them. It wasnt the right jacket so I sent it back to them. They then sent it back to me saying that it smelt of smoke. I do not smoke and nobody in my house smokes !! I have health problems that make it impossible for me to be in a smokey atmosphere. I received one email from them saying that it would be dealt with, a standard email I think. The I got a patronising email from someone there saying that the jacket was kept in a smokey enviroment and they would not refund my money. Again I state that this is impossible in my house. I would never shop with them again or recommend them to anyone !!!!!!!

Quick communication and good customer service.

Due to no fault of their own the delivery company made a mistake by not transferring the goods to the next depot station. Once raised with the company Ruth did her utmost the gain a better response from then than I did (they said 'no chance of getting until at least Monday'). Through her dedication and persistence she was able to push through the delivery for the same day (this was on a Friday) - all the time keeping me fully up to date on proceedings. It was a 'beyond the normal' service and therefore I would highly recommend the company to anyone.
