Urban Industry stocks the very best from the Premium denim jeans brand, Edwin. We have the classic ED47, ED35, ED39 and Nashville selvage jeans and we maintain to keep these styles in stock at all times if possible.
In the 80s and 90s the sexy slim tube jeans and the rugged work pants of the label Edwin belonged to the must-haves of every trendsetter between New York, Tokyo and Berlin. The wave of success was huge and by the way they invented the »worn out«-washing and the »ringspun«-technique and therewith revolutionized the denim market. After it became a little quiet around the label, now in 2007 it is put back on the map!
In your face styles, over the top designed fits, glaring finishes is what you will look for in vain in the current Edwin collection. Founded in 1961, the brand proclaims today as they did on day one subtleness, quality and authenticity. Latter not being an inflationary used empty phrase but turned into a fabric-reality. The label with the rainbow selvedge combines elements of western cultures elegantly with those from eastern cultures. It represents the extensive legacy of the past and accepts ever new impulses of the presence.
Already the brand name, which was constructed by twisting around letters of the word Denim, proves the passion towards the jeans that will always remain omnipresent. We're now into our 3rd season with the authentic Japanese denim brand, Edwin. We're trying some new styles of jean for this AW 08 collection as well as some old classic like the ED47 and Win BT...plus mixing it up with some new washes, selvedge and non-selvedge so you can afford some cool jeans at a cool price and of course not be as ultra careful in how you treat them daily!
