Vans Shoes are a company committed to helping the environment by finding more earth-friendly materials and construction techniques. This has resulted in new versions of the Vans Rata and Vans Authentic, which reduce your 'eco-footprint' whilst still being sturdy enough for surfing, skating, and daily wear.

Vans have recently launched an updated version of their Rata model, originally built as part of the surf collection. The Rata Vulc comes with a 100% Hemp upper and Vulc sole, making it both durable and lightweight, the perfect companion for the traveling surfer.

Also available is the new Vans Authentic Hemp, which also features an entirely Hemp upper. The outsole is constructed from 40% recycled rubber, making this an all round eco-friendly shoe. Hemp is a lightweight, breathable fabric, making both the Rata Vulc and Authentic Hemp perfect for the warmer weather ahead. These Vans models and more are available now.

We have just launched out first ever lookbook for Spring/Summer 2010 as a way of displaying some of the best stock for the upcoming season and how to rock it best. The whole lookbook was shot on location in Eastbourne by Sean at Highorder.co.uk and featuring dubstep DJ Odessa modeling the looks.

Brixton Hats have recently launched their spring/summer collection which includes a healthy selection of their signature hats along with select items of clothing. Brixton Hats have established themselves as the premium creator of headwear and this season’s selection definitely shows why.

The first collaborative range from Canadian retailer turned menswear brand Ransom Holding Company and one of the world’s biggest footwear brands, Adidas, first appeared in previews back at the beginning of 2009. Ransom worked on completely new models, rather than with existing Adidas Originals silhouettes, resulting in some really special footwear.

The Ransom by Adidas Originals collection moves away from traditional Adidas Originals runners to more mountaineering inspired footwear, with Ransom taking inspiration from the Canadian outdoors. Ransom and Adidas return with their second footwear collection, which sees the return of The Valley, The Dune, The Creek and more, in a host of new colourways and materials for spring/summer.

The Dune and The Creek continue mountaineering inspired trend whilst The Valley presents a more traditional high-top sneaker model using the same premium materials. In addition, The Curb, The Pier, The Bluff and The Valley Low cover the lower end of the spectrum. The use of materials is what really makes the Ransom by Adidas Originals collection something to shout about. Sun washed ripstop nylon, heavyweight hemp and premium leather all feature prominently and make a big impact to the look and feel of each shoe.
